Our study in Romans 10 has led us to the climactic moment of the explanation of Romans 10:4 where it is written, "To Every One That Believeth". In today's message, Pastor Simpson clearly and most simply declares the meaning of this phrase. For, in the way you interpret this single phrase will determine your foundational understanding of when and how a man is justified. Was Paul saying, in a most literal sense, that every one that believes will be saved and so, hence, we should then plead for others to believe and in that act of belief, they too, at the moment of their belief, can be or are saved? Or, was Paul telling the Jews of his day that every one is to mean Jew and Gentile; all kinds of men or every kind of man, who believes will be saved? When faith is made a condition to be saved, it becomes a work; a law and is no longer an act of God by grace, but an act of the will of man as a deed of the law.
