What do I understand about the gifts that God has given me? Romans 12:6-8 “Prophecy” - The God-given ability to take the truth of God in the Bible and speak it forth with the result that lives are changed. “Service” - The God-given ability to meet needs. “Teaching” - The God-given ability to systematically and effectively organize and explain the Bible. “Exhortation” - The God-given ability to come alongside others to encourage, counsel and console people with the scriptures.” “Giving” - The God-given ability to give liberally with love and joy. “Leading” - The God-given ability to stand before others to preside and lead with care and diligence. “Mercy” - The God-given ability to show compassion for the misery of others and to relieve the problem with a true attitude of cheerfulness.
