This Sunday, we hear the third and last of our three-part series in Ephesians 1:3-14. Over the last few weeks, we have been (1) called to be in God's presence, (2) predestined as sons, (3) redeemed through blood, (4) forgiven, and (5) made aware of Jesus' glorious return. If Paul stopped here, and this was all God gave his people, we would indeed be rich. But this series isn't called richly blessed, it's called overwhelmingly blessed. God continues to bless. This week, we read of an inheritance waiting for us in heaven. An inheritance so great it impacts our present lives to praise God. Furthermore, we have been guaranteed that inheritance through the reception of the Holy Spirit.
Continue to give time to reading and meditating upon 1 Ephesians 1:3-14, praying that the Lord may open our eyes to His Glory and our hearts to praise.
