A-This is a difficult question and varies based on each unique situation but I think the Church often times does too much preaching to the choir and needs to focus more on relationships, knowledge is essential yes but the body cannot be the body with Sunday morning, Sunday night, and Wednesday night service where we drop off our kids and go sit and listen.

Q-authors and languages A-Our Bible was written by over 40 men during a period of time of about 1500 years and in 3 different languages(Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek) Q-inspiration and canonization A-The 40 men although some were spoken to directly from God most where inspired by the Holy Spirit to write what they did but maintained their own perspective on some of what was written in the Bible. The Canonization of the New Testament began happening rather quickly in the early Church and the word "Canon" is a way of measuring and or validating letters written to be inspired. Part of the measurement was its connection to the Old Testament , the writings ability to change or saves souls, and its broad acceptance by the collective body of the New Testament Church. The Old Testament was accepted as it was written starting with the Torah and as time went on the addition of writings was accepted by the collective leadership of Israel. Q-how we got 66 books Answer-This is lengthy response but it is answered in how the Old and New Testament were canonized but the Old Testament was not necessarily ordered by the Jews as we order it in our Bible. The New Testament is 4 Gospels written by two disciples and two witnesses, the rest of the new testament are letters written to the various Churches with the exception of Hebrews which is believed to be a series of sermons. But the entire narrative of the Old and New Testament is one Big story of God loving and redeeming a lost people who need him.

“ Great Sermon! ”
This article is a sign of our times. But really the same as all times. 1 Corinthians chapter 2 speaks clearly as to why this writer and many others will continue to stand against the simple faith in the authenticity of the Bible as the Word of God. Understanding and pity of where this man is in his spiritual condition is what is needed.
