As Christ continues to be LED to the CROSS-, this week Mark 14:12-21 exposes HOW TO DEAL WITH A TRAITOR. Some of us have had to deal directly with a Judas in ministry; others of us know the pain of a child who betrays us as parents, a fellow employee or student who steals your work and claims it was their own, an employer who fails to fulfill a promise, a friend who stabs you in the back, a team member who blames you for their failures, or someone you’ve poured your life into, who decides its OK to slander you. In our passage this week, Our Lord shows us how He treats the lowest of all traitors, JUDAS. Christ not only displays incredible love for this betrayer, but Jesus also demonstrates amazing shrewdness in dealing with his traitor. All of us have or will be betrayed in some way –learn to dependently follow Christ’s example when others close to you turn against you, and understand what it means to be LOVING and SHREWD!
