Leaving This World, in all points, as they Came — Lost
Everyone of us are on a crash course with death and we can't afford to die in the same condition we entered this world.
"As he came forth of his mother's womb, naked shall he return, to go as he came. And a man shall take NOTHING [from his labor], which he may carry away in his hand. And this is a grievous thing, a sore evil, a terrible tragedy; THAT IN ALL POINTS, as He came into this world or EXACTLY as he was born, so shall he leave this world..." (Ecclesiastes 5:15-16)
Wow... what does this mean? We entered empty handed and there's the possibility of leaving empty handed. What do I mean by having a possibility of leaving here differently than how we entered life?
If we don't have, in HAND and HEART, the love and labor of Christ's redeeming work and grace we will have NOTHING to give a Holy God.
Yes, if we don't have, in HAND and HEART, the love and labor of Christ's redeeming work and grace, we will have NOTHING to give a Holy God. And NOTHING in this life is worth leaving here without a heart full of Jesus and His redeeming grace.
