Ephesians 4.29 says, "Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers." Corrupt literally means decomposed. It is used of rotten fruit. Instead of the tongue becoming an agent which causes decomposition, it must be used for edification - to build and reinforce good and godly relationships. We must refresh with the tongue. We must become a clear, fresh-water spring. We must be this consistently. How do we do this?
