Let’s be clear. It’s not simply because of Adam and Eve’s sin that you are destined to hell without Jesus. You've sinned plenty all by yourself. Why did God put the stupid tree in the garden? The only thing they couldn't do. Can you imagine the temptation. It’s like a dare. A lot of things are stupid until someone dares you to do it. God has wanted us to have a choice from the beginning as to whether or not we would serve Him. That’s why He planted that miserable tree! That way He would know that we love and serve Him willingly. We are not just puppets. We still have a choice. there are just a lot more of those trees around. That’s why we need His grace. Let me ask you, if you had a girlfriend or boyfriend and they went out with you because you were the only choice they had, would that be cool? Those choices we make stem directly from our priorities. Your priorities determine your actions, and your actions reveal your priorities. You are a product of your decisions which flow forth from your priorities. You can always see your priorities by looking at your life. People say, “Jesus is the most important thing in my life” but their life says something else. I’ve heard plenty of mumbling about guys and their addiction to sports..I’m going to step on toes here. I could easily become a basketball fanatic on T.V. ..Hobbies and sports vs. family. Self vs. others. Ladies, I’m not going to let you off the hook. there is that submission issue. Often Guys won’t lead because ladies refuse to follow an imperfect husband. Your husband will never be perfect in this life and neither will you. Okay...we’ve also seen that most of us have a tendency to blame others
