I think one of the most memorable scenes in the Christmas Special, "A Charlie Brown Christmas," is when Charlie Brown says, "Isn't there anyone who knows what Christmas is all about?" Linus then dramatically recited our text for this message. When he finished he said, "That's what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown." Linus was right. This is what Christmas is all about. It is not about a dead tree and eating candy out of our socks. Nor is it about tinsel, presents, or family get togethers, although these things are important. Christmas is about the fact that at a special point in history, God entered into the realm of His creation and became a baby born in Bethlehem.
