I disagree Your statement "Inordinate desires come out of our sin nature, but their presence does not automatically mean we have committed sinâ€ť [23:30]is scripturally incorrect. The Word of God clearly states: "The thought of foolishness is sin..." Surely "inordinate desires" are sinful desires? Are you really saying that desires are neutral? The Bible teaches that sin does NOT consist merely in acted-out desires, but in the desires themselves. Christ spoke of sin as the fruit of a corrupt tree. Jeremiah said that "the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked". In the Fall of man, Eve did not only sin in taking the forbidden fruit, but in desiring that which God had forbidden. She saw that it was "a tree TO BE DESIRED to make one wise..." How can you condemn the behavior but not the desire? Disappointing...
