The Scripture declares in Psalm 19:7-8: “The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.”
If a parent loves their child – they will uphold the law and word of God in their home. Because as the passage says – the law is a light (v.23). It reveals what is right and what is wrong. It plays a part in the conversion of the soul.
