This particular book, of Daniel, was given to us so that we might understand that God is the One, and the only One, who is the Source of true wisdom, whether it is in earthly things like eating and drinking, or whether it is the wisdom related to how God is to be worshipped; whether it is wisdom in taking your stand for God’s truth, or whether it is in understanding the secrets related to Christ’s kingdom and its advance to conquer among the nations of the earth. (verses 8-16) And 3rd – They had wisdom given to them by God when He saw that they would be faithful to Him. (verses 17-21)
