Also, God changes Abram and Sari's names. In Genesis 18, the Lord again appears to Abram stating Sarah will conceive & bear a son. In that conversation God reveals to Abraham His intention to destroy Sodom & Gomorrah. This disclosure is followed by a prayer of intercession, a prayer based upon the will of God and the person of God.
