We are introduced to the evil character, Haman. Esther lives her life as Queen, but the evil Haman hatches and executes a plot to destroy all the Jews living in Persia. Mordecai convinces Esther that she must act, or deliverance will come from some other place for everyone else. Bravely, Esther decides to act on behalf of her people, even though it may cost her, her life.
