God is not in all his thoughts and therefore the carnal man is unable to please God. Yet, there is something more sinister to the carnal mind. It is opposite to all that God is. Since God is light, the carnal man is darkness. Since God is True, the carnal man is a liar. Since God is honorable and righteous, the carnal man is dishonorable and unrighteous. And since God is life and the giver of life, carnal man is death and can only beget death.
