Why do I believe the Bible, consisting of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, is the infallible Word of God, verbally inspired by God without error in the original manuscripts? Why do I believe that God’s intentions revealed in the Bible are the supreme and the final authority in testing all claims about what is true and what is right? And in matters not addressed by the Bible, I believe we can know what is true and right by assessing the issue through the teachings of Scripture – comparing Scripture with Scripture.” Throughout my life this conviction has grown deeper and firmer. Its roots extend to the earliest parts of my youth. This message will share the process God used in my life to confirm the authenticity of His Holy Word.
