Pastor's we get distracted administrating the programs of our Church and failing to pray for the people who are the Church. You can't program people but you can pray for them and teach them and this is our calling. Prayer came first. Prayer first – ministry second… prayer first – teaching second… prayer first – preaching second… prayer first!
“I have been praying for you and I will teach you.” In fact what Samuel was to teach to the people was just an extension of what he had been praying. Let this always be the pattern of ministry in your life. May your service be born out of your prayers and then your service will have power and God's own heart will be behind it.
