The Presentation of the King on what is known as Palm Sunday is a declaration of Sovereign Lordship. Unlike earthly processions, which are instituted by man, and directed to the deity, Christ's procession is a declaration by God toward man. Man's processions seek to bless and god or a group of gods whereas the procession of the Incarnate God seeks to bless man and the community of the elect.
The procession on Palm Sunday is not simply a declaration by any deity, but by the Sovereign Deity Who is both One and Three.
