God’s Word to us in this final message in the book of Esther reminds us to remember God’s great salvation. Remember the Jews are in exile. They had disobeyed God and now found themselves as subjects of the Persian Empire. King Ahasuerus, has proven to be a shifty, self-centered guy was their king. His right hand man Haman convinced him to decree that all the Jews be killed. But, Esther the Jewess became the king’s wife and she convinced the king to decree that all the Jews could not only live but conquer their enemies. God has worked a sovereign deliverance worth remembering! We should learn from this passage what a great deliverance God has worked for us; a deliverance worth remembering. We see in this passage (1) a great deliverance, (2) an incomplete deliverance, (3) and a call to remembrance.
