On today's episode we start off by listening to some quotes from Sun Myung Moon. In the following quotes we hear Moon make bold claims such as: 1. How he is the messiah of the Second Advent. 2. How Christianity will disappear and will be replaced by the Unification Church. 3. How Moon is greater than Jesus Himself. 4. The world needs True Parents to break the lineage of Satan. 5. Part of salvation involves believing in True Parents. 6. Another part of salvation is preforming indemnity. The Unification Church has three sources of doctrine that they consider inspired from God. 1. The Bible 2. Sun Myung Moon's book Divine Principle 3. The Speeches of Sun Myung Moon What's interesting here is that they recognize that the Bible is inspired from God. This means we can use the scriptures to help them see the truth. Publicly Sun Myung Moon claimed that his book Divine Principle and the Bible were equal in authority but former members of the Unification Church will tell you that they were taught that when the Bible and Moon's words contradicted, they were to go with whatever their messiah said. This also is strange as Moon taught publically that Divine Principle did not contradict the Bible. As we go forward we will discuss point after point in Moon's words where he contradicts God's words in the Bible. One excellent tactic to utilize when witnessing to those of the Unification Church is to demonstrate to them how the Bible is inspired by God. Show them some of the amazing prophecies in the Old Testament that have come to pass. Sun Myung Moon's book Divine Principle does not show these divine characteristics.
