The Bible DOES tell us how much a Pastor is worth, and how much he should be paid. It transcends culture and time period. Many churches grossly underpay the Man of God, putting other 'needs' and priorities above the Elders who are among them. However, some churches and para-church organizations treat their ministers like celebrities and pay them astronomical salaries. The Bible does speak to this issue, in showing the church's obligation AND the necessary limitations that come to a Pastor in his salary.

Great Sermon This sermon, "The Pastor and His Compensation" and "Wrong Reasons for Entering the Ministry" are a straight forward, down to earth teaching on what God's will is concerning the "proper" care of His servants.
