People are being drawn to Jesus more and more. When Jesus referred to the Gentile woman as a dog, instead of rebellion against Jesus, the woman responded in a way where Jesus healed her daughter. Her response pleased God and she received her request. We need to learn to persevere instead of giving up. We will never accomplish anything of significance if we give up when things don’t go our way. The woman responded with faith and perseverance. When Jesus healed the deaf man, this was just one of the ways that He healed people. Jesus did not use the same technique or method to heal people. If we want to do something for someone, we need to do what the other person would appreciate. Our job is not to go out and do something great for God. Our job is to obey. God is looking for obedience.
