So the Leaven, or Christ resurrection power, is what began the good work of sanctification in our heart. This same resurrection power will complete the work on the Day He returns. On this Day of days, Christ will free the whole creation from the bondage of sin, and recreate the world before the eyes of His saints. We will see a New Heavens and a New Earth created, where there will be this glorious liberty from sin in all of its forms. Paul says here that this is something that we groan for; waiting for our adoption which is the redemption of our body. There will be this physical manifestation of the sons of God. We have the firstfruits of the Spirit now, but in that Day there will be the most full and public bestowal of physical and spiritual blessings possible in the reuniting of the soul and body forever.
