How do we live in a Post-Christian world? That is the question we've been seeking to answer in this series of messages from 1 Peter. The last sermon in the series seeks to put the pieces of 1 Peter together in synthesis of the message of the book so that we can understand how to live. Peter begins with the FACTS of who we are in Christ, what we have, and the impact it should have on us. In light of the FACT, Peter, in 2:11--5:14, reveals the ACTS of how we should live first in the world, and then in the church. Peter ends his letter with how he began-- with HOPE and PRAISE. Our hope is in the God of all grace, who has saved us by His grace, called us into His family by grace, has gifted us by grace, and has called us to eternal glory by grace! Our God of grace limits the suffering and persecution we might have to endure! We suffer for only a 'little while' and then experience the glories of heaven. And the God of grace will complete what He has started in us. He will perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle us! Therefore praise is due the One whose glory and dominion is forever and ever. Our hope is in the God who reigns supreme!!! Praise Him!
