Real Change: Taking Off the Mask II Corinthians 3:12 –18
Below is an excerpt from a poem by an unknown member of the Human Potential Movement:
Please hear what I'm not saying Don't be fooled by me. Don't be fooled by the face I wear, For I wear a mask, I wear a thousand masks. Masks I'm afraid to take off. And none of them are mine.
Pretending is an art that is second nature with me. But don't be fooled, for God's sake don't be fooled.
I give you the impression that I'm secure. That all is sunny and unruffled with me, Within as well as without, That confidence is my name and coolness is my game, The water's calm and I'm in command, And that I need no one.
But don't believe me. Please!

(vs. 16-17) Is it possible for a Christian to be living in the spirit one moment and living in the flesh (nature apart from Christ) the next moment? Growth is a process. How's that working for you?
