"I have been a minister for over 40 years now, and I've heard most of the reasons why people do not want to be Christians, and I've come to believe that there is one particular reason why. It's a common reason, yet it's one that people are reluctant to admit, or perhaps they don't realize it. And it's simply this; they're too proud."
Pastor Donnelly preached this sermon during the annual Pastors' Conference which was held at Trinity Baptist Church in October 2008.
Great Sermon! I have learned so much about God throughout many years of listening to the godly preaching of Pastor Donnelly.

Solid and Sound Great investments are made in meeting physical needs. Too often, spiritual needs go unacknowledged. Sinners need to be saved. It's an offensive message to many. The gospel message is essentially simple but pride often blocks a response.

Great Sermon! Spiritually dead men will not believe the Gospel of God's grace in Christ alone. Proud? Yes. Very proud. This is the condition of dead souls. They will not respond to the Gospel no matter what, unless God gives them life to believe. No life(dead), no action.
Preach the Gospe,l but keep in mind, only the sheep will hear and respond.

Great Sermon! Absolutely true: it's simple and it's humbling. And He has done all for sinners!
