The question is this; “Why were the former days better than these?” And the answer comes back from Solomon the Preacher; Do not ask this question, for you do not inquire wisely concerning this. So we want ask ourselves, 1st of all – Why is it unwise to inquire about the past being better? 2nd – What is the remedy for anxiety about the present? And 3rd – What will give us peace of mind and heart, both now and in the future? And certainly then, after we hear this message, we can pray that we would live out the answers which are given to us here in our text.
