In this message, we follow the advice of James to the Hebrew followers of Jesus. We continue a study we began a few weeks ago. In the passage before us, James stresses how important it is for believers to be doers of the word, not just hearers. We see the encouragement of James to be doers. We also see the example James uses to describe a hearer only. James also encourages the believers to continue in those things which they have heard. Additionally, James give examples of those who are doers. They will bridle the tongue, visit the widows and keep themselves unspotted from the world.
