This sermon challenges the prevelant view in American psychology that that Bible has no merit in clinical counseling. In stating His call Jesus quoted Isaiah and said that He was annointed to heal the brokenhearted, to set at liberty those who are oppressed. Obviously Jesus believed He could make a difference, so why has the chuch so easily given up on ministering to those with psychological needs and challenges?
Great Sermon! This sermon enabled me to make a major "mind shift" out of a slump of depression.Thank you.

Great Sermon! Bold and edifying! This powerful sermon challenges us in our walk with Christ. Corners us to take a look at the way we dodge God's word. Describes healthy application for God's word in our personal life. For the person going through sickness and trial; for the person who has a lack of compassion for those who are in trial. Confronts sin, bitterness and apathy in the Church.
I would describe this sermon as a "wake up call."
