“ Further Information about Alireza Seyedian ” Dear Brother Bob,
Thank you for your article on persecution. I just wanted to clarify a point about a man from my country of Iran who I knew personally. Alireza Seyedian has been given the sentence of 6 years.
It is very sad that anybody is imprisoned for their faith, and we must pray that the Lord would change the tyrany of the Islamic regime of Iran. However, I must add that Alireza Seyedian is not an evangelical believer. He is among the growing number of people (like Yousef Nadarkhani) who are following the Cult of William Branham. They reject the doctrine of the Trinity and salvation through faith in Christ alone without works, they believe in Baptismal regeneration, and many other heresies.
I am only writing this, so that we can pray for both his release from prison, but also his release from the bondage of false Christianity into the truth that is in Christ our Saviour.
Thank you for informing the public about these persecutions.
