From the pen of Brother Thomas Alan Lester, In all the years I've been involved in church ministries, I've had many questions about our church. What is your doctrinal statement? Is your service contemporary or traditional? Do you have a women's ministry? I have never been asked, “What do you do for the poor?” Jesus spent a lot of time with the destitute. If we long to be like Jesus, we need to seek them out to PREACH and SERVE!
Do you agree the time for discussing or debating whose fault it is needs to be over? We have 12 hrs of daylight. I wonder if Jesus would say, “It’s getting dark guys! Do you want to talk about it, or fix it? You want to know whose fault it is? Let that go and get to work! We don’t have time for fault finding. We can argue or we can act! That’s what brings glory to God. It's time to clock in and get to work!
