Proverbs 1:24-32

24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;

25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:

26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;

27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.

28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:

29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:

30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.

31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.

32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.

Turning away from the truth is the response that many people have chosen today.

Millions have chosen to stay on that wide road that leads to destruction and many believers in Jesus Christ have changed their course and have departed from the faith for a religion that produces an emotional high and gives a synthetic satisfaction to the flesh.

I say synthetic because it is not real, it's only a short lived emotional high, just like alcohol or drugs and it will leave you empty and only searching for a stronger substitute to satisfy the soul.

The only substitute that can bring satisfaction is in the Lord Jesus Christ and when you choose to submit and follow Him there is no looking back.

Luke 9:62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

Modern day Christianity no longer requires you to repent of your sins or to turn from a worldly lifestyle, but it only embraces the ways of the world and compromises the truths once taught to try and win the world, not to Jesus Christ but to another Jesus a Jesus that will support self-gratification and the riches of this life.

Another Jesus that will change the times and laws and will cause many to believe that he is the way.

John 5:43 I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

The world is ripe and ready for the Antichrist to come on the scene and many will be fooled into believing and follow him into destruction. Many Christians will be deceived by this man and will lead to the slaughter.

1 Thessalonians 5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.

God has called us to follow Him and He has warned us of the things that we should have no part with, but many have chosen to ignore Him. Many feel that it is okay to continue in the things of the flesh and believe that it's okay with God.

You’re free to watch whatever you want. You’re free to listen to whatever you want. You’re free to live whatever lifestyle that you want. You’re free to dress however you want. (Even if you’re being a stumbling block to others) It's okay to live as a homosexual. (Many want to teach from the pulpit that God loves all) It's okay to live together and have sex before marriage. It's okay to drink a little alcohol and smoke whatever here and there. It's okay to look into the things that the Lord considers to be evil. (Even if it's for your ministry) I'm telling you now that if you’re a Christian that you have no business looking into the things of Satan.

1 Peter 2:11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;

1 Thessalonians 5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.

That means don't look at it and don't eat it!

Many ministers out there today talk of prophetic movies and justify watching these films and they say it’s for their ministry. I say to you now that it is just an excuse to indulge in the world.

All the talk about the Illuminati, aliens FEMA Camps and all the noise out there is nothing but entertainment for the flesh!

Someone had a dream or a vision from God and he spoke to them saying this or that!

Revelation 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

We have the Word of God! The Bible!

2 Peter 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Why don't we just believe what it says and follow it's teachings in context?

The Word of God is inspired by men of God who were inspired by the Holy Ghost to write the scriptures that are contained in the Bible. Many have turned away from believing in the Bible they have been saturated and brainwashed by talk shows, television programs and books, there are so many opinions about who God is and what his attributes are and people have believed the lies and have listened to or formed their own opinions of who God is.

The Bible has been put away and the truth has been compromised and ignored.

Judges 17:6 In those days there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes.

This is the condition of the world today! We have been programmed by the television, movies and books of man and conspiracy’s that may or may not be true. We seek anything and everything and mix it with God's word to come up with what we feel is the truth. We live in fear of what is to come and not in fear of a Holy God and His righteous judgments.

Proverbs 1:24

24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;

God has called all to His truth; He has provided a way for eternal life.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Proverbs 1:25

25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:

Many have chosen to ignore God and have refused His instructions.

Psalm 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

You might say Dan I believe in God, but I don't feel I have to change the things in my life that are worldly.

I say to you that you really don't know God, because if you did it would grieve you to continue in the things that are an abomination to God.

Proverbs 6:16-19

16 ¶ These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:

17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, 19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

Refusing to repent of the wickedness in your life will result in you being separated from God.

Proverbs 1:26-28

26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;

27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.

28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:

There will come a time when the Lord will not be found by those who have ignored him in the times when He was available.

Many will find themselves in Hell and will not be able to escape. It will be too late!

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Now is the time to cry out to God in repentance.

Proverbs 1:29

29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:

When you have no fear you will have no fear of the consequences of sin, but there is a consequence to sin there is a price to pay.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

This is the knowledge that God has given us.

Proverbs 1:7 ¶ The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Proverbs 1:30

30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.

God has sent His ministers and messengers and His Word but many are continuing to ignore the truth because it causes them to make a decision of separation from the pleasures of this life.

We have seen Bible Prophecy come to pass in our life time with tragedies and technology but we continue to refuse His instruction.

Proverbs 1:31-32

31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. 32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.

You will be consumed by your desires and destroyed by your compromise to the open minded tolerance of wickedness. Your iniquities will submerge you into destruction.

Psalms 50:16-23 16 But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?

17 Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.

18 When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers.

19 Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.

20 Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother's son. 21 These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes. 22 Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.

23 Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.

Are you turning away?
