Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. There's been a watering down of the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is a false gospel that has led astray and flooded the house of God and the lives of many Christians today and from the past.
A great deception is underway here in America and around the world. It's a falling away from the truth and the things of God.
We have grown bored and are burned out! I blame those who are hirelings in the pulpits. I also blame myself and the people of God. We have become too comfortable. There is no conviction of sin. A falling away of hearing the truth has deafened the minds of most people in the world and in the church. They do not want to hear about rules and regulations. Give us a free pass to do what we want and leave us alone.
Rebellion is what is in the hearts of many today.
1 Samuel 15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.
King Saul just like many Christians today chose to walk in his own perception and was led by his feelings into deception and ultimately suicide because of his rejection of the will and the ways of God.
We hear a good message it convicts us for the moment but as soon as we turn our eyes and ears to the world we lose our connection with God and forget the warnings that his word and messengers give.
We live in the flesh and we walk in the flesh. We are constantly making excuses for the things that we condone in our lives that we know are wrong in the sight of God. We feed off the world and the world keeps us insensible to the truth.
The world does not know God or his ways. The world does not care the world does what the world wants. If you live according to the will and ways of the world then you will not know who God is.
When you choose to pick up your cross and follow Jesus Christ you sever all ties to the world and become part of the Bride of Jesus Christ. You are therefore no longer part of the world!
John 17:16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
You become born again and the grace of God will change you. You will be an over-comer of the world and it's wickedness.
Paul says in: 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
You are no longer in bondage to this world but a member of the body of Jesus Christ. The things of the world will no longer excite you but only the things of God will you long for and seek out. The world will find you to be a stranger and there will be a separation but we must endure because the end result of obedience will be a life of everlasting joy with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords Jesus Christ.
The world will not understand your convictions and will mock and persecute you to a variety of levels but Jesus told us of these things.
John 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
The world will not understand and will have no remorse no convictions or regards to the will and ways of a holy God.
Matthew 5:17-20
17 ¶ Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
God has provided stepping stones to guide us through our time here on earth. I'm not suggesting legalism. I'm only saying what scripture teaches.
Romans 12:1-2
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
1 Peter 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
What is the difference if we say a little prayer and ask for forgiveness but there is no brokenness no repentance no conviction of sins but only an excuse of rebellion and a right to walk in the ways of the world.
This is not the truth but only the deception that started many years ago in the garden of Eden when the serpent had said “Yea, hath God said?” Questioning God's will and ways is not an option to be taken lightly. Regarding and reverencing God is an act of obedience and faith.
Changing his word will only bring death and judgment.
