THE VOLULNTEER REVOLUTION seeks to answer a question you have probably asked at some point in your life: "Can one person really make a difference?"
One person CAN make a difference. One person can change the world. One person can live a life of abundance, where they find themselves thinking again and again, "This is what I was made for." And that person can be you.
Pause for a few moments to consider what your life might look like if you choose, on an ongoing basis, to stop chasing the wind and start changing the world. What do you see being true about your life a month from now? A year from now? A decade from now?
Ephesians 2:10 says that "We are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." How do you feel, knowing that the God who created you also prepared good works for you to do?
If you believe that God thinks highly enough of you to entrust unique gifts to you, if Christ cares enough to serve you each and every day, and if the Spirit commits to empower you for service, then join the revolution of those who will take the Great Gamble of serving...be one person who says yes to living beyond yourself!
A lifetime of satisfaction, fulfillment and purpose awaits the servant. And no one can keep you from seizing this abundant life but you. As you approach each God-given day, remember that you can never go wrong following the perfect example of servant-mindedness: Jesus Christ.
He served you in the past unto death on a cross. He serves you today by interceding and wooing and equipping you for service. And he is committed to serving you for all of your tomorrows as you walk with him, until the day comes when he welcomes you into your eternal home with him in heaven.
