Dr. Whitcomb to present creationism conference in Chicago
Next weekend, Aug. 17 to 19 , Dr. John Whitcomb will present a creationism conference at Parkwood Baptist Church in Chicago (11355 S. Central Park Ave.). His teaching will be complemented by WMI ministry assistant Paul Scharf, who will also present children's sessions. This will be a wonderful conference involving several area churches.
Dr. Whitcomb's sessions will be as follows:
"The Creator of the World" (Friday, 7 p.m.) "The Origin of Mankind" (Saturday, 9:30 a.m.) "What Is Man?" (Saturday, 10:45 a.m.) "Dinosaurs and Men" (Saturday, 6 p.m.) "The Flood and the Final Judgment" (Sunday, 10 a.m.) "The Flood and the Fossil Record" (Sunday, 6 p.m.) Mr. Scharf's sessions will be as follows:
“Beginning at ‘The Beginning’” (Saturday, 9:30 a.m.—children) “An Age-Old Question” (Saturday, 11 a.m.—children) “The Modern Creationism Movement: Building on a Solid Foundation” (Saturday, 2 p.m.) “If the Foundations Be Destroyed: Paul’s Message to a Pagan Culture” (Saturday, 3 p.m.) “Beginning at Moses” (Part 1) (Sunday, 10 a.m.—children) “Creation and Chronology: An Alpha-Omega Perspective” (Sunday, 11 a.m.) “Beginning at Moses” (Part 2) (Sunday, 6 p.m.—children) For more information on this conference, contact Pastor Thorin Anderson at (773) 238-4475 or click on the Web Link below.
