Tuesday night, in front of the Fort Worth City Council meeting, homosexuals stood silent (even with tape on their mouths), as I (pastor Joey Faust) walked up and preached a long sermon to them in front of the many news cameras. Who could ask for a better situation? Few church Christian congregations sit that still and quiet:

After a long while, some erupted with elbowing and pushing the Christians - right in front of the cameras and police. The police just watched the shoving and shouting and preaching without saying a word. Some police smiled and shook our hands as we left. We did not appeal to them, but just did our best to keep the homosexuals off of us, while we continued preaching. At one point, they began to sing loudly to drown out the preaching. The Christians began singing Amazing Grace so loudly the homosexuals had to stop singing before we finished our first verse. We reproved them for holding rainbow banners and espousing "love" - yet resorting to violence against others that object to their views. Thankfully, the whole event - even the interviews with various news organziations - is all on video. When asked by a homosexual reporter what we hoped to accomplish, we pointed to the many civil dicussions that, by then, were taking place all around. One young man (17) looked really convicted. We also pointed to the fact that the news had voiced the Scriptures in a more thorough manner than we could have ever hoped to do by voices alone. As the Philistines took the Ark of God into their own camp, these homosexuals have taken the Word of God, which burns like a fire, and is a sharp sword, into their own camp - in the name of news. Only a small bit of my TV interview with Channel 8 played in the news, of course. They showed the letter I sent to the homosexuals, inviting them to their own protest; then they showed me speaking against the dangers of political correctness in our land. We wish they would have showed me giving the Gospel, or Bible warnings, etc. But at least there was nothing offensive about the news report. They showed the church name, etc. Others report that other news organizations actually showed some preaching at the protest. We thank you for your prayers. Some of the members of Kingdom Baptist were joined by some other churches and Christians. One pastor came far, with many of his members, after hearing about it, right before the event. We praise God for sister Lynn D., and sister Jan C., for alerting us to these events, and for holding signs and ministering. The City Council continued its surrender to political correctness, as it continues its moral decay. But the word of God is not bound; and in the midst of it all, God will have His witness against them, even as the cup of His wrath is filling to the brim(stone)!
