I’ve been asked that question many times in recent months. People have watched the spread of the covid pandemic, the political upheavals across the world, the shocking surge in immoral laws, the deepening spiritual and religious apostasy and the confusion that reigns in the heart of governments and they ask: Are we close to the end of time?

I usually answer that question in the affirmative. Yes! we are in the last days. The last days began when Christ came to this world and they will end when He returns to this world; and every day we live brings us a day closer to that glorious event. As this world hurtles on in its sin, the Lord Jesus Christ remains in sovereign control of all things. When He comes again, it will not be that men can mock Him and crucify Him, rather He will come in power and great glory. He will come to judge the world, and none will be able to resist Him!
