Blessings... can I pass on a little something to all the preschool servants, children Sunday school teachers, along with all you moms and dads that encourage your little ones to pray and sacrifice their time to let others know they are loved, cared for and prayed over. Like the original art work and prayer that my brother and friend Jack Wayne sent me. His mom kindly packaged this sweetness up and shipped it off to encourage us. Ain’t that the coolest? And, as Jack prayed, we do, too... that He will use us, and all that we are and go through, to bring Him glory. Jack, thank you little brother, your love continues to bless me, give your dad and mom a BIG hug for me.
So many of you have reached out, stopped us when you’ve seen us in town, even gone out of your way to minister to us, and we’re grateful for you and thankful for your gentle love. We’ve received so many calls, cards, letters and sweet sweet messages from many of you over the past several months. Your kindness has been such an encouragement to me and our family. Thank you, thank you, thank you... it is well!
Here’s a ministry opportunity you might want to consider. Things like this banner. It was not only such a precious blessing to Honey and I but a brilliant idea to minister hope and healing through little hands of hope. I’m not exactly sure the heart behind it, other than the sweet pre-K Sunday school class that sent it. Things like these are glorious on many many levels. Thank you teacher for mailing this, give your little disciples a BIG hug from us.
The thoughtfulness and investment of a teacher, with a burden to shape little hearts into big hearted servants, is a work and witness that will outlive them, and the willing hands they lead, and all the people like us, who gladly welcome their kindness. I thought this ministry may be an idea some of you have been praying for... may y’all have fun with it.
