People frequently ask me, “Who has been the greatest influence on your approach to biblical counseling?” Some of the names I mention include modern authors... However, people are often surprised to hear me respond, “The person who has most impacted my understanding and practice of counseling is Martin Luther.”
I had been counseling for a decade when I first started examining Martin Luther’s pastoral counseling.

On the broadcast today, I will speak with Dr. Bob Kellemen - Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Chair of the Biblical Counseling Department at Crossroads Bible College and the founder and CEO of RPM Ministries. He is also the author of many books, including Gospel-Centered Counseling and Gospel Conversations .
The “Knowing The Truth ” Radio Program, originates in Greenville, SC on a 50,000 watt station covering all of South Carolina as well as parts of North Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia. The program airs live on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11:00am – 12 noon EST on Christian Talk 660AM and 92.9FM. Additionally, the program is broadcast live nationally via video webcast on SermonAudio.com.
