Health Experts 'Stunned' That Millions Travel for Thanksgiving
Tens of millions of Americans are ignoring the advice of public health experts and plan to travel for Thanksgiving, according to the latest updates.
“I have been stunned to see the reports of lines of travelers in airports,” Boston University professor Davidson Hamer said.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued a travel advisory urging “postponing travel” plans as coronavirus cases surge.
Yet Sunday was the busiest day for air travel since the pandemic began, with 1.04 million travelers, according to the U.S. Transportation and Security Administration....
I believe people are tired of all these orders and then we see our elected leaders telling us one thing and doing the opposite. I think we are responsible adults and seriously are able to decide on how much risk we are willing to take.

Yes, I have never suggested to anyone what precautions they should take. I have frequently said that if someone believes God is saying something different than the authorities, then we have a mandate to obey God and not man. And I have been consistent in saying we should not look at this virus with the perspective of our own neighborhoods. I am one who never discounts conspiracies without much thought, so I have simply said that we should look at every country in the world. If it is a conspiracy, then the governments of the entire world are complicit.
Yes, HM I followed to a tee the protocols.I live in a very rural mountain town out west. All public settings were quite stringent in wearing of face coverings and distancing...but still.🤒. I thank the good Lord for health restored and for His continued mercies to me.🙏

Typhoid Mary is an extremely small percentage of people and also ignores the fact that your average adult is home to 10-15 viruses a day. Who knows what you are carrying that could potentially harm the next person you come in contact with. Nobody was scared of spreading germs that may pose a risk to someone before the media told us to be. This fascination with a slim chance of something bad happening is unhealthy. You have a greater chance of dying in a car wreck or even doctor malpractice (which happened at the beginning of this pandemic and killed off many but was brushed under the rug as "covid"). Do as you wish with your family but you nor the government have the rights or authority to dictate another's life choices. We gathered and thanked God like many others did. That's our choice to make.
Sister MS, amen. We gathered in my home as well, giving thanks to our God and hugging each other with no fear. What a mighty and merciful God we serve ✝️❤️
HerbalMama- we gathered together to praise our great God for mercies shown to our family this year, myself and my soon to be daughter in-law are both survivors of the dreaded COVID. No masks, no hand sanitizer, no social distancing, no fear.Lots of hugs and kisses, and praise to our Great God and Savior, for mercy shown to us.

My children are around 50 and they come around rarely and they always wear masks. I have never said they can’t come or that they would put me in harm’s way if they did. It is and has always been totally their choice. One is a teacher and the other works at a fire department and both come into contact with lots of people. And both know that I and my wife would be in the 1 percent you spoke of.

I agree with what you wrote brother. My wife and I are as locally active as we ever were; shopping, eating out. Face masks and hand washing and we also try to social distance. In Florida there are very few restrictions. We haven’t travelled any distance because like you, we don’t have any way of knowing what “their” restrictions will be. Perhaps an entire plane is quarantined or a hotel somewhere.

Health officials are not governing authorities to begin with. And as the verse says, the authority of governors is to punish those who do evil, and praise those who do good. It would be difficult to find in there God ordained authority to do the opposite.
Sometimes you have to go with your gut. I am not an expert in genetics and, as ever, stand to be corrected. However my attention was drawn to some research published by the Spanish medical journal D-Salud-Discovery. Their advisory board of eminently qualified physicians and scientists lends further credibility to their research. Their claim is astounding.
The genetic primers and probes used in RT-PCR tests to identify SARS-CoV-2 do not target anything specific. I followed the search techniques outlined in this English translation of their report and can corroborate the accuracy of their claims about the nucleotide sequences listed in the World Health Organisations protocols. You can do the same.
D-Salud-Discovery state there are no tests capable of identifying SARS-CoV-2. Consequently, all claims about the alleged impact of COVID 19 on population health are groundless. - https://off-guardian.org/2020/11/17/covid19-evidence-of-global-fraud/
"Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer. Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God's wrath but also for the sake of conscience."

Mike, I will absolutely agree with you on that point.
I will also agree with you in saying that maintaining that precious thing called "freedom of speech" is important. But if those who believe strenuously in "freedom of speech" begin to lay down conditions concerning everyone who speaks, then they have just turned the whole thing on its head and become nothing more than dictators, or have begun to hold a similar political ideology as communists or controllers, where "the few" control "the many". Thusly, irrespective of any foolishness which is being spoken (or posted on this forum), I hold to the right of each one to post as he or she wishes, subject to obeying the sensible etiquette laid down by the website owner.
Regrettably over the years I have seen a great number of folks come and shortly go again, simply for the lambasting they have received at the hands of others, who would never see themselves as either foolish or racist, but by the evidence over many years have proved to the world that they actually are both of these things.
Such foolishness will not exist beyond the second advent of the Lord Jesus Christ. So there is something to cheer your heart, Mike.
Experts are are not stunned that millions travel. Experts are stunned that the people don't all listen to them with rapt attention. It's their egos, not their knowledge that they are concerned for. Some Christians on the other hand, claim sinful rebellion is the reason for travel. Perhaps the travelers have weighed the risk, and found it acceptable? They count the cost? Where did that principle come from? In what way is it wrong? Naturally nothing is said of the rebellion of unbelieving and therefore unwise political/medical experts, with their contradictory and/or selective "expert" proclamations, nor anything of the unlawful and often anti-Christ edicts of unauthorized governors. These by the way are not experts in much of anything, except making speeches, declaring themselves essential at continuing high wages, and the working class folk who pay their wages as non essential. Foolishness abounds.
