Church of England announces near-future “decision” on same-sex marriage doctrine
The Church of England (CofE) has promised a “decision-making” process on sexuality doctrine, which may result in its approval of same-sex marriage by 2022, CBN News reports. The CofE Evangelical Council has said it will engage with the process but has warned of the need for obedience to Scripture.

In 2016, the Archbishop of Canterbury, the CofE’s most senior bishop, publicly apologized to the LGBT community for the pain the Church has caused them. At a press conference following a summit of Anglican leaders, Justin Welby said: “It’s a constant source of deep sadness that people are persecuted for their sexuality. I want to take this opportunity personally to say how sorry I am for the hurt and pain, in the past and present, that the church has caused and the love that we at times completely failed to show, and still do, in many parts of the world including in this country.” ...

""the key question is not one of church procedure but whether we think that the teaching of Scripture is right.""

OR: Presumably, 'Whether the teaching of Scripture is wrong???

When a group who claims to be Christian begins to doubt the Bible and its doctrines - Then that group has left the Faith or indeed never was faithful to begin with.

False witness is rife today and has been throughout history.

2Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of."

James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. 8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways."

You must be referring to BBC-type broadcasts. I haven’t seen those. Hollywood films have for 80 years or better portrayed preachers as womanizing, slobbering lunatics, and often as murderous and covetous. But either way, as fairies or whoremongers, they are never shown in a favorable light—unless, of course, they happen to be Catholic priests a la Bing Crosby in “Going My Way.” Wow, you don’t suppose the prince of the power of the air is in the cinema industry, do you?

Feeding goats in a tux?! Wow! I suppose that's better than me working in the shop in...oh never mind, I'd better not say.

From the pastors, preachers and ministers I've seen on TV or in person, they all seem to be resembling Tiny Tim (the singer not the SA commenter ), and losing that manliness and strength the men of old used to be known for. Soon we'll all be wearing tights, lace and bows and looking so delicate and darling.

It is no surprise that whenever a state church minister is portrayed in a film or TV serial, it is as an effeminate man, who is sooooooo nice.

Why look at that the Archbishop of Canterbury is apologising on God's behalf for upsetting the poor old sodomites.

Isn't that nice?

Isn't that Liberalism?

The CofE is definitely the voice of the antichrist - Rather than the voice of Christ.

Liberalism is religious deception by Satan of the nominals and the gullible.

Now that the CofE is getting to the point of confirming the new "normality" of sodomite behaviour, it is demonstrating its unBiblical stance and proving it belongs to the worldly reprobation.

Sin becomes acceptable, tolerated and respectable.

And if you were Christian you wouldn’t support people who want to destroy Christianity and all that Christianity stands for. And don’t bother posting a link to one of your fellow subversives. I don’t care what they think.

if they were Christian there would be no debate.

Mark 10:6-9

6. But from the beginning of creation, God made them male and female. 7. For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother, 8. and the two shall become one flesh; so they are no longer two, but one flesh. 9. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.” --
