Washington voters approve comprehensive sex ed with Referendum 90
Public schools in Washington will be required to teach comprehensive sexual health multiple times during a student’s K-12 education after voters approved Referendum 90, according to Tuesday’s early results.
The vote was split about 60-40 in Tuesday’s first vote count.
The referendum sparked a bitter debate throughout Washington since it was first put on the ballot in June. Opponents of the sex ed bill that passed last session gathered more than 266,000 signatures to bring the question to voters in November....
How does any of this solve anything. People have been harmed by infidelity, rape, incest , disease, infertility due to sexuality transmitted diseases, not to mention dead by AIDS, suicidal tendencies from all the above. American society is a loathsome society. No political policy will do anything but make us ever more self loathing . What this world still needs is Christ crucified and Risen. And believing on Him brings new life, the very essence of his resurrection power , living in us. Now more than ever, this world needs Christ.

When one of my daughters was in 9th grade we got a notification they were going to have a sex education class. Since I believe that is solely a parental responsibility, I went down and argued with the principle and assistant principle giving as much scripture as I could. They both disagreed with me, but said they would allow my daughter to not attend and she could do some other type of study. I had told them that I would keep her out of school that day if they didn’t allow this. They explained they were going to show the private parts for men and women and actually give a demonstration on a dummy as to how to put on condoms among other things.
That would have been in the early 80s. I can assure everyone that today I would have been denied my request and would have been reported to some authority.
Come quickly Lord Jesus, come quickly.
SA and moderator. I apologize for my rash and unkind comment below.
Washington is busy with indoctrination into the reprobate society. Schools should be places of scholastic and academic education NOT social indoctrination by the unprincipled PC Liberalist lifestyle fiends. Obviously the bureaucrats who push this type of indoctrination are out to twist the minds of children and contrive an iniquitous future.
What adult feels comfortable discussing this with someone elses child let alone their own? Most arr quite modest with it, if they have any ounce of deceny in their bones. Not all the lights are on in their upstairs department.
