Nearly half of Gen Z Americans view socialism favorably: survey
After 100 million murders, dozens of wars, unquantifiable starvation, and gulags created under socialism, 40% of Americans today consider it “favorable,” a survey by Victims of Communism Foundation has found.
The Victims of Communism Foundation released its fifth annual survey, asking 2,100 representative Americans their opinions on socialism. In 2020, 4% more Americans view socialism favorably than in 2019.
Younger generations approve of socialism most, the survey said. Some 49% of Generation Z and 47% of millennials have favorable opinions of the term socialism. For millennials, that number has gradually declined from 50% in 2018 and 49% in 2019....

Wake up, Jim. Is there a difference? Should we care whether the socialism is national socialism or some other form of idiocy? All lunatics are crazy.

Brother Tim, you see correct that the Lord preserved to Himself a remnant. For that and much more, anyone of the Reformed camp should be grateful.
It is more than regrettable - shameful really - that those of the Reformed theology have led others astray, particularly of late but our history is speckled with sin. They, of all people, should have known better. Yet they rejected their core doctrines for the trendy. Our Brother Wayfarer's laments over this have been often. It is a reminder to me that there is but one Hero in all of history, that Second Adam and Lamb of God.
But there are a few of us left, dear brother, who still follow the ancient paths and seek the Lord's face and favor thru Jesus as He is offered to us in the Gospel while holding to Reformed theology and doctrine.
We may not agree on every aspect of what the Lord is doing and how He is doing that. On a separate thread, our Brother Frank aptly stated that knowing the mind of God is like trying to know all the grains of sand at the seashore when all we can comprehend is a single grain. Perhaps that is our situation. Let love cover our differences.
The Reformers weren’t all that bad, but greater commendation should go to the faithful Christians who did NOT come out of the Great Whore, because they were never a part of her. There was a remnant of such Christians long before, during, and after the Reformation, and there will remain such a remnant till Jesus comes. Reformation churches came out—at least partially—of Roman Catholicism. True Christians should come out of Reformation churches and get back to biblical truth and practices.
Millennial here! My husband works a real job and provides for myself and our children. No government aid. No help from parents. I stay home and homeschool the next generation. Though it's tempting you can't sweep us all under the same rug. There are other milinneals like us, not sure on gen z's.
Also, you guys, "socialism hasn't been done right. If we just do it right it'll work." 🤦 Sarcasm.
Zoologists think they know all about gestation of certain wild animals, a seemingly uncontroversial subject, but God says otherwise in Job 39:1-2. One of two things follows: either man has since gotten wiser, falsifying this passage, or he still doesn't have certain knowledge of these and other matters of nature, and never will.
Should one be tempted to affirm the former, note that history is littered with the carcasses of refuted or superseded scientific theories and claims, even those promoted by well-meaning Christians who thought they were glorifying God.
Christians didn't reject science, Jim. We founded it. Scientists, believing that creation gives glory to God, looked for how He put everything together and how He holds it together.
But like Psalm 19 says, Creation can only give us a little glimpse. To know God, one has to know His word.
Today, science has been co-opted as a way to try to explain away God. Ultimately, it fails.
But for folks who seek truth, we want something solid. Science cannot deliver. None of us were there when the Lord laid the foundations of the earth (Job), Science cannot recreate the scene. And the variety of opinions and changes and tightly held then discarded theories mounds up. So we follow the science to the Lord, which is its natural end anyway, but not where you or the scientists want us to go. Sorry to annoy you, and you are forgiven for annoying me.
The problem with generation Z is that they have been driven to every place they needed to go , be or attend, they have been , entertained, coddled, dressed up, had the mistakes, sin, and crimes covered up , excused or paid off . When they were driven to college, parents handed them off to soulless devils who finished raising them. But something more, they decade of the childless female is the driving force towards socialism. These kids don’t want to be on their own they want to be taken care of for the rest of our lives. As for the boys- it’s either the military, unemployment or being a little boy for the rest of their life because life is just too too hard. Yeah, it’s either the parents or grandparents who really are too blame- being too lazy to be any good for anyone.

Microsoft is Old News. What too few people understand is that major corporations often like working with their their ostensible ideological enemies. Recall Henry Ford and Armand Hammer being buddies with that murderer Lenin. So it is not too surprising that Google, Twitter, and Facebook are running dogs supporting anti-capitalist traitors like Biden. I can only suppose they're looking for crony status (as they already have with PRC) when the Progressive Fascists take over after Trump leaves office (either next year or 4 yrs hence).
Communists have no problem working with large corporations, so long as they get what they want. It's all about pragmatism, something you have commended before.
I would like to see what percentage of the Z's and millennials have had a real job (outside of restaurants) and are still at home with working moms and dads. For parents to desire to work so that their children would "want for nothing" does the kids a great disservice. Even Adam worked in a place where he did not have to "want for nothing."
