This would be important news except that the numbers are indeed exaggerated, and Fauci can’t seem to decide which of the things he says are the things he believes anyway. Most of the “cases” no longer exist, even if they were all Covid-19, which they weren’t, yet CDC keeps adding them into the mix. Do you really think cases from last Winter and Spring are part of the case count today? Is it ethical to add this season’s cases to last season’s? Do we do this with other viruses? Please. There’s a reason the swamp doctors do this, and never tell us how many recoveries there have been. Your efforts to cause doubt are failing, and will continue to do so. But keep trying.

America's top infectious disease expert has rejected US President Donald Trump's claim the country's coronavirus numbers have been greatly exaggerated, saying "the deaths are real deaths".
Key points:

• Mr Trump said "the number of cases and deaths of the China Virus is far exaggerated in the United States"
• Anthony Fauci disputed that, saying the US was averaging 2,000 to 3,000 COVID-19 deaths a day
• Dr Fauci is optimistic the pace of vaccinations will increase....

I'm getting to recognize that "only the good die young. it seems to happen a lot anyway.

US congressman-elect Luke Letlow has died of coronavirus, Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards has said.

Key points:

•Luke Letlow was to be sworn in as a congressman on Sunday

•He died while undergoing treatment for coronavirus in hospital

•Last week he called for people to donate plasma to help COVID-19 patients

The 41-year-old Republican from Louisiana announced on December 18 that he had tested positive for the virus and on Christmas Eve a spokesman said the father-of-two was being transferred from St Francis Medical Centre in Monroe to Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport Academic Medical Centre for treatment.....

"Career Republicans" is the problem, not the solution. Their precious swamp is in danger. May they be drained along with their Career Democrat partners, who are equally threatened.

"How Much Would Trump’s Coronavirus Treatment Cost Most Americans?"

I doubt if your insurance will cover helicopter rides, and if it doesn't, don't take them ❗ 👎

If it were true I still wouldn't be praising it, Mike and it probably is true by the way. It seems that Trump has been getting better. You don't have any insurance will sure cost you a pretty penny to get the same treatment

Thank you Watcher. You have hit the button with your correct attitude for a holy life, namely, to bring glory to God for his work in a person's life. It is an attitude of thanksgiving "for saving us in the first place". Amen and amen.

We can also say that sin in our life will be slowly eradicated through chastisement, which is not a joyous experience but grievous. Nevertheless afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness in them that are excercised thereby.

We can also say that God will not hesitate to strike his people down with sickness and even death, for not repenting of sin. There are examples of this in the new testament, and even in the letters he dictated to John for the churches in Asia Minor.

Besides which, because God's seed remains in us, we cannot sin (with impunity), as John tells us in his letter.

It is a great joy to see the evidence of God's grace in one's heart and life. It is the greatest proof that one has Jesus within - "Christ in you, the hope of glory".

As you say, the fruit, the work, the evidence of grace, is not of oneself, but the mighty working of the Spirit. Take away the Spirit, and the fruit will disappear.

Yes John. Everything points to the work of the Lord Jesus. He is our Hope of Glory as you say. Not of ourselves but of Him. May He continue to work in our lives and conform us daily.

Amen bro!

To God be the glory, great thing he hath done! Yes indeed, praise the Lord for his grace and mercy, his great love, his sacrificial giving, his giving of gifts, the sender of the Comforter, the Paraclete.

Good night brother.

Faith in what? Your Creed's and confessions? Your baptism? Your dead works is all you ever trot out...Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith- that is what the sheep continually do. For we know what Paul knew

18For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. 19For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. 20Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

21I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. 22For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: 23But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? 25I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Now the dead religionists will spend the rest of their time convincing themselves and others how 'saved' they are. May God have mercy

“Who, among all the readers of this paper, desires to be saved by Christ, and yet is not saved at present? Come, I beseech you—come to Christ without delay. Though you have been a great sinner, Come! Though you have long resisted warnings, counsels, sermons, Come! Though you have sinned against light and knowledge, against a father's advice and a mother's tears, Come! Though you have plunged into every excess of wickedness, and lived without prayer, yet Come! The door is not shut, the fountain is not yet closed. Jesus Christ invites you. It is enough that you feel laboring and heavy-laden, and desire to be saved. Come! Come to Christ without delay!
Come to Him by faith, and pour out your heart before Him in prayer.“

The legalist beats that same dead works drum, you have to keep the commandments, you have to get holier, you have to stop sinning, etc. So, James 2:10 doesn't sink in. Looking to self in any way means you simply don't get it, you don't have a clue about imputed righteousness. Christ's finished work isn't enough for the Pharisees, they got to add their own dung, making void what Christ did. This is the same crowd Christ addressed, calling them workers of iniquity, then saying He never knew them. Anybody that looks to their own performances as evidence/assurance proves they do not understand grace and imputed righteousness,
