Too Hot for Covid Face Masks
Dr. Brian Lamb who practices Internal Medicine at AHN says there are times when you can take the mask off.

“When you are outside, away from people, yes. When you are exercising, when you are with family, when you are with a small group of friends in the backyard, yes, you don’t have to wear your mask,” Dr. Lamb said.

At PennDOT District 11, Executive Cheryl Moon-Sirianni says the heat creates a dilemma.

isn't this a contradictory statement, ""Wearing a mask in the United States is political, but Republicans are speaking out as coronavirus cases grow"?
BTW, cases are not 'growing', unless you believe the leftist agenda, which Jim does...https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2020/09/every-measure-covid-dissipating-across-nation-emergency-room-visits-hospitalizations-deaths-way-peaks-april/

The spread of COVID-19 — some experts say it's a political statement, signalling another layer in the deep divisions within America.
Key points:

• COVID-19 has killed more than 127,000 (around 200,000 now❗)people in the US
• A US survey found Democrats are more likely to wear masks than Republicans
• For some, having to wear a mask presents a violation of individual rights

Isn't it great to know that we haven't lost our standing having more people die from this disease than in any other country.

In fact, mike, I might even get an n95 mask--if there doesn't look like there's going to be an emergency for them ❗

The primary purpose of the mask, though nonsensical, is for a visible reminder that death lurks at 5 feet 11 inches from another person, thus maintaining the manufactured fear as long as needed to keep the people compliant. Redfield’s and Fauci’s pants must be close to ignition.

Chris gp, I usually do not find that the case, though on rare occasions that it is. You might find this report from your own BBC interesting. Dr. Redfield, head of our CDC, had some interesting things to say that part of the conversation, you could find interesting. What Trump said was more applicable to the United States. It's a short video.

The face mask don’t work! Even if you had a surgeons mask of the finest level the size this virus is is extremely small. It can still fit through one of those. I talked to a nurse and she told me this. The government saying people have to wear mask is just so people feel like there’s a solution to it. Same with Walmart wanting people to now they’re aware of the virus so they want to make it look like they’re doing something but they just funnel everyone which is not helpful.

As I have an overactive sinus condition, I have been grateful that masks have not been made compulsory in Britain until now. I would imagine they would be quite hot, sticky, insufferable and uncomfortable to wear for a long while.

Unfortunately, our PM has now bowed to the tremendous pressure from some of the medical and scientific “experts”, and from Monday 15th June, to coincide with the partial lifting of some of the lockdown on that day, with some very limited exceptions, masks are now to be compulsory on all public transport in England, and also at all times in hospitals (every area, not just treatment areas), though thankfully not in shops or other areas, as far as I know.

Because of my condition, I shall use a scarf that I can throw over mouth or nose, and take off immediately I leave the bus, train, hospital or whatever, which as far as I know is perfectly legal. I must also remember to take my leprosy bell, so I can shout, “Unclean!! Unclean!!”. The rules do not apply, as far as I am aware, to Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland, though the governments there have very strongly encouraged the use of masks.
