Texas Lt. Gov. Patrick: The real way to address racism is for Americans to "accept Jesus Christ"
Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick said on "Fox News @ Night" Wednesday that the real way for Americans to address racism is to "accept Jesus Christ," saying that "we need a culture change," which requires a character change, which requires a change of heart, which requires one to turn to God.

"You cannot love your fellow man if you don't love God," Patrick said. "And we have a country where we've been working really hard, particularly on the left, to kick God out."

Mitt Romney was one of several senators, both Republican and Democrat, who read sections of the letter from the Birmingham jail,

Senator Romney was 39 minutes 19 seconds into the presentation.

I had hoped that the white moderate would see this need. Perhaps I was too optimistic; perhaps I expected too much. I suppose I should have realized that few members of the oppressor race can understand the deep groans and passionate yearnings of the oppressed race, and still fewer have the vision to see that injustice must be rooted out by strong, persistent and determined action.....Unlike so many of their moderate brothers and sisters, they have recognized the urgency of the moment and sensed the need for powerful "action" antidotes to combat the disease of segregation. Let me take note of my other major disappointment. I have been so greatly disappointed with the white church and its leadership. Of course, there are some notable exceptions.....I commend you, Reverend Stallings, for your Christian stand on this past Sunday, in welcoming Negroes to your worship service on a nonsegregated basis. I commend the Catholic leaders of this state for integrating Spring Hill College several years ago...."

The main ally of Dominionist Protestants is the Romish church.

Theyforce Catholicism on Protestants all the time❗👎

"Rome when in minority is as gentle as a lamb, when in equality is as clever as a fox, and when in the majority is as fierce as a tiger."

As many Protestant Mexicans can attest to.

"The "Christian" Reconstruction movement... claims that believers possess a cultural mandate from God to reclaim in this age dominion over human society -- a dominion forfeited by the fall, but supposedly regained for immediate claim with the New Birth experience. As believers obey this mandate, gradually gaining dominion over earthly society, this present world will supposedly become "Christianized," inaugurating the Millennium. In reality, if effected, the entire earthly society would be placed under an O.T. "Theonomy" law system, rather than the N.T. teaching of believers as a group of "called out" saints from the world. They want to apply Old Testament law to today's society. This includes slavery as an alternative to prisons and capital punishment for a variety of offenses (murder, homosexuality, etc.). This view advocates the reconstruction of society as a theocracy and is heavily postmillennial."

So how does one force Christianity onto someone?

It seems like God's enemies use that phrase quite a bit.

But let's not miss that this politician is from Texas, Wayfarer. Isn't it interesting that the remnants of the Bible Belt still has men who stand on the Rock? Not that they don't also fail as we all do. It's refreshing for us in the Mid-Atlantic states to see someone in office stand up and not get shouted down.

Let’s see.. the left uses the court system to force their ungodly beliefs on the United States, and the moment a elected politician says , it’s is by coming to Christ, is where one can have their heart changers. After 170 years since the civil war, have our hearts been changed by the government saying don’t allow bigotry. Or is it possible that the action of black ministers that may have changed the hearts of a nation? No one is forcing people be converted, that’s what the government and Catholics do.

Yes I agree there is no more Jew or non Jew in Christ. We become part of the kingdom of God where everyone from every tongue and nation is there worshiping the Son and Father.

My only problem is with wicked men that have come inside the fold. They teach that black people have no soul and are not human. Like the Mormon Cult. People that preach Jesus but then want to segregate people based on ethnicity.

Peter was eating with the gentiles, but when some Jewish men came he isolated himself from the gentiles and only hung out with his Jewish people. Paul rebuked his behavior because a true believer in Christ should not act like that.

Timothy was half Greek and half Jew and some Jewish people had problems with that.

Just like today. They have no problems that their children marries an unbeliever but if its another "race" they cannot stand it. They say that because of the old testament but they ignore the new testament. The only problem is the union of non believers with believers.

Why do some of you isolate yourselves from people who look different from you? Why do some of you act bias?

I am not accusing people, but this is my own reflection.

Just a thought/consideration

If black lives really mattered to black lives mattered

They would be crying out:
Flee the left
Don't let anyone tell you that you are anything less than a human being made in the image and likeness of God

Don't let anyone tell you that you have no Savior
you are someone Jesus Christ died and rose again to save from your sins and from all who would hate and exploit you

Don't be His enemy
Flee to Him
He is mighty and willing to save

Jimmy Carter almost really started something.

"Patrick’s prominent and explicit mention of his Christian faith seemed to break new ground in Texas, a state that is no stranger to the intermingling of God and politics. Being a born-again Christian was central to the political personae of both Govs. George W. Bush and Rick Perry, and Gov. Greg Abbott, a convert to Catholicism, counts among his proudest achievements successfully arguing before the U.S. Supreme Court the constitutionality of the Ten Commandments monument on the state Capitol grounds".... (As lieutenant governor, Dan Patrick remains a ‘Christian first’)

As long as he remembers,

Not to try to force Christianity onto people ❗👎
