5G Underwhelms in Its First Big Test
When 5G services launched here in April, Jang Dong-gil was among the first wave of South Koreans to sign up.

Now eight months in, Mr. Jang, a 30-year-old tech company worker, has a chilling review for the next-generation technology: 5G hasn’t lived up to the hype.

“I don’t feel the difference,” said Mr. Jang, who uses a 5G-enabled Samsung Electronics Co. handset. On many days, he said, he switches off his 5G service altogether because his connection often drops as his phone pingpongs between 5G and the existing 4G LTE network. ...

Though Canada’s response has not been entirely devoid of politics, Canadian officials have consistently deferred to public health experts and scientists to drive policy decisions, and have offered a generally consistent message.

“There’s been a consensus … that covid-19 is a very serious health problem and many members of Parliament from all parties have been elevating the messages of health experts over the course of the crisis,” said Eric Merkley, a political scientist at the University of Toronto. “That distinguishes us from the United States, where the Republican Party has elevated covid skeptics quite substantially.”

Merkley is the lead author of a paper that describes Canada’s response as a “rare moment of cross-partisan consensus” among political elites and the public....

On a national level, the Canadians have done it better than the United States ❗👍

Chinese state media has foreshadowed “public and painful” retaliation against the UK over its ban of Huawei from the country’s 5G networks, as Donald Trump appeared to take credit for the decision....

Ties between the UK and China have deteriorated over the past month as the UK has criticised Beijing’s imposition of a sweeping national security law on Hong Kong, a former British colony, and pledged to support fleeing pro-democracy activists and protesters. China has said it will take firm “countermeasures” in response....

CV, since,"discretion is the better part of valor" I will refrain from putting up URLs to what Trump's niece's advice was to him. But, Trudeau has plenty of reasons for not knuckling-under to Trump. If the Canadians didn't like what Trudeau has done nobody forced them to vote for his party ❗

No, not trump but castro, Trudeaus father became Prime minister first and after his death, son nevame pm. Both had a close relationship with castro. Castro attended dads funeral. When castro died, jr. couldnt go because of controversy but he praised castro.
Nice swipe at trump but a swing and a miss again.

Jim, your socialist government limits Gods peoples liberty. Abortion is shedding of innocent blood. God hates it!

The above a tiny URL for the Australian article which mentions at that the financial Officer for Huawei was arrested at the United States request, who also happens to be the daughter of the founder of the company, still hasn't been extradited to the United States nor has Canada as the article did mention hasn't decided what is going to do about buying Huawei equipment?

Apparently Trudeau is not at Trump's beck and call?

"The UK will completely remove Huawei equipment from its 5G network by 2027, Boris Johnson's government announced on Tuesday.
The Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden told the House of Commons that the UK will impose a ban on the purchase of all new 5G infrastructure from Huawei by December 31, 2020, with all existing equipment removed by 2027.
However, Johnson's official spokesman said on Tuesday that sanctions imposed on Huawei this year by the Trump administration were a "game-changer" which meant that the UK has no choice but to change course."
