A second pastor in Myanmar’s Rakhine state has been abducted by suspected Buddhist insurgents after another was killed less than two months ago.
Pastor U Thar Tun was abducted from his home in Buthidaung township on Feb. 13, according to the U.S.-based watchdog group International Christian Concern.
Tun is the 50-year-old pastor of Mara Evangelical Church who is active in community development and received a theological education from Mizoram State. The father of five has served as the pastor of his church even though the congregation could not support him financially....
The heart is more deceitful than all else and is desperately sick who can understand it. In the heart and mind of a Buddhists is to train daily to hurt others, then with the same tongue speak of peace.
Praying for the safe return of this Pastor, along with humane treatment while in captivity. Another Pastor was abducted just last month by the same Arakan army Buddhists, and murdered. I hope this situation has a much different outcome.
Buddhism...another religion of peace, and pacifism? China, Islamic dominated countrys, and even Roman Catholicism in some far away places, steal, kill, and destroy, in the name of their gods. Born again, Bible believing, God fearing Christians, are the infidels; the outsiders who must be dealt with so that none of their own are pulled away from any of their false gods. God Himself is under attack, the world over, as they attempt to commit genocide against Him, and in this nation, they are trying to erase Him from the minds of the next generation, and even the notion of sin has become foolishness.
