U.S. deaths from alcohol, drugs and suicide hit highest level since record-keeping began
The number of deaths from alcohol, drugs and suicide in 2017 hit the highest level since federal data collection started in 1999, according to an analysis of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data by two public health nonprofits.

The national rate for deaths from alcohol, drugs, and suicide rose from 43.9 to 46.6 deaths per 100,000 people in 2017, a 6 percent increase, the Trust for America's Health and the Well Being Trust reported Tuesday. That was a slower increase than in the previous two years, but it was greater than the 4 percent average annual increase since 1999.

Deaths from suicides rose from 13.9 to 14.5 deaths per 100,000, a 4 percent increase. That was double the average annual pace over the previous decade. ...

The simple solution for alcoholism is
Proverbs 23:31-32 (King James Version)
31 Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright.
32 At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder.

No satanic drinks are allowed inside the temple of the Holy Spirit
1 Corinthians 6:19 King James Version (KJV)
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost …

1 Thessalonians 5:22 (King James Version)
22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.
Stop alcoholism by ditching all wicked alcoholic beverages.

Whether or not these stats are true or false, I'm reminded of this verse:

James 1:15
Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

Note detail--since record-keeping began--in 1999! That's only a 20 yr period. Makes you wonder what happened before that.
Proverbs 32:3: "Statistics lie and liars use statistics"
Another case: Bloomsberg World Health Index ranks US low in overall ratings, many European countries high. This ignores the little-known fact that in those European countries, the infant mortality rate is low because they don't count the infant as live until it has survived a few days after birth.
So don't trust any of these stories that use statistics to prove anything; there is always a political angle in play.
And that applies to almost any topic: have you noticed people saying, 'Oh, this country is so polarized! Why can't we just get along?' Well, when you disagree with the Green New Deal or sodomite marriage, then they call you intolerant and narrow-minded. So what they want is for everyone to agree on everything they say, to never tell them they are wrong. This is the Complete Agreement of a place like Cuba or North Korea.
