The Supreme Court on Monday ruled that the Pentagon may continue limiting transgender people from serving openly in the military, pending ongoing lawsuits in lower courts advocating for their continued right to do so.
The court's five conservative justices, Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Clarence Thomas, allowed the restrictions to remain in place.

Good news that the Supreme Court allows it, though I don't like the wording, 'pending ongoing lawsuits in lower courts. I thought when the Supreme Court ruled on anything, it was settled law. Oh well, just another example of our living in a '1984' Orwellian society where up is down and good is bad. Sodomites who 50 years ago needed treatment, according to the American Psychological Association Diagnostic Manual of that day. This was changed after heavy lobbying by sodomite groups. Psychologists are not know for their courage, you know. Instead, today we have 'hoarding' in their manual, thanks to the focus by a few cable TV channels on a few people in our society. Didn't they always exist? Didn't you know a few houses that were a mess when you were growing up (not saying anything about your house of course)? Would you have ever considered them to be mentally ill? So, next step: create some cable TV programs that show 'Lives of Christians' as strange and abnormal--singing hymns, Wednesday night church activities, getting dressed up for Sunday services, Vacation Bible School, Easter sunrise services, etc. All these things can be shown in ways that make they seem strange and abnormal, so soon they will be listed as mentally ill.
